Tactical Help, how to make it better?

So i am managing Aston villa for like 1 and 1/2 years and finally i build a tactic which fully fits my team without any wingers. 4-1-2-1-2, and here are the players settings
GK:- Role - Goalkeeper, Duty - Defend
DL:- Role - Fullback, Duty - Defend
DR:- Role - Fullback, Duty - Defend
DCR:- Role -Center Defender, Duty - Defend
DCL:- Role - Center Defender, Duty - Defend
DMC:- Role -Defensive Midfielder, Duty - Defend
MCR:- Role - Center Midfielder, Duty - Support
MCL:- Role - Center Midfielder, Duty - Support
AMC:-Role - Attacking Midfielder, Duty - Attack
STCR:-Role - Deep lying forward, Duty - Support
SRCL:-Role - Advance forward, Duty - Attack

all without any advance tweaks.
and my team instructions are
Philosophy :-Rigid,
Starting strategy :- Counter
Passing style:- more direct
Creative Freedom:- More direct
Roaming :- Stick to position

all others tactics are default.
Now the problem is in the match my team gets like 54 to 65 % of the possession as well as 15 to 25 shots and over 7 on target,
But dont get more then 1 or if lucky get 2, many times after the 80 min, my opposition gets the equalizing goal, though only one against evarton i got 5 goal, that's it.Only Once.
is can you fellows tell me how to get more goal?

Maybe set your full backs to support, as you arent going to have any width playing that formation.

not working, working only against me.
Nother problem, i seem to consed just 3 ways, set piece,counter and lot's of penalty

for all positions unless you have someone with high longs shots and technique. better off holding onto the ball than just giving it to keeper aren't you?

Hey all can anybody game me a good tactic form my Aston villa??
i have players as flow
defenders all r solid defenders, no wing backs.
midfielders defensive midfielder,central and attacking midfielders
strikers,

i dont have enough money to buy a quality striker
