Tactical help needed badly!

Formation: 4231(With one of the 2 cm's as a DM laying infront of the defence)
Shouts: Keep possesion and pass to feet
Team: Liverpool FC
Position in league: 1st
Strategy: Offensive
All my players' creative freedom is around little and nothing at all. Except my striker(Steven Fletcher).
And they all are supposed to pass short ALL of them.
(Now i will write the players' postion and goals they've scored)
ST(Advanced forward): Steven Fletcher(21 goal in 19 matches)
AML(Inside forward): Nene(8 goal 12 assist in 20 matches(2 as sub)
AMC(Trequestra(sp??)): Luis Suarez( 6 goal 8 assist in 19 matches)
AMR(inside forward): Steven Gerrard( 6 goal 3 assist in 15 matches)
CM(The problem is here i dont know what he should play as!): Adam Vass
DM(Anchorman): Lucas Leiva
LB(Fullback): Jose Enrique
CB(nothing changed on him): Skrtle
CB(Ball playing defender): Toby Alderweireld
RB(Fullback): Glen Johnson
GK(Goalkeeper): Reina

My problem with this formation is the passing is in some matches around 83-79%, but what i want is 90%+
due to how good results i get i am afraid to change it anyone got an advice??
My second problem, what should my CM play as?!

I'd play the CM as a straight CM with a support role. You've got your anchor man plus the back four so the CM can wander forward to fill the hole when Suarez goes off on a run.

Do you mean you want the pass completion to be higher than 90%
