So I hire an assistant with greater tactical knowledge who also is described as a specialist in training at tactics...Just before match starts I ask him for a piece of advice and the game greys out him as one with no enough tactical knowledge whereas my two other coaches are ready to give their advice even though on their card they have less tactical knowledge...What am I missing here...Why is he not able to give advice?

ALL of them are foreigners but have knowledge of England and other Nations...He was also a player for Manchester United for many years..Quinton Fortune...Does their career as players counts as tactical knowledge for assistant and coaches?

then he should have knowledge of England but if that's his first job as a coach/assistant probably he wont be able to provide that kind advice for the first months.

You nailed it...Thanks...I hired him as assistant because he has 15 adaptibility...Which would help me to adapt him as assistant...The other coaches are in their natural jobs as coaches that's why the are comfy to give advice...
