Tactics help

Hay I have started a new game with Liverpool. I believe my tactic is good.

Which is 41221

--------Torres--------
Riera--------------Kuyt
----Alonso--Gerrard---
------Mascherano-----
Aurelio-Aggar-Carragher-Arbeloa

But I have no idea what to do with the team instructions. Whenever i play a match, torres never has any room at the front, but i dont want to play 2 strikers. And alot of passes dont connect.

Any ideas for the team instructions? And individual instructions.

Try sticking Gerrard behind Torres, and Mascherano in the middle with Alonso. Maybe even out Babel on the wing instead of Kuyt. And try the Back 4 like this (left to right) - Arbeloa, Agger, Skrtel, Carragher. Did wonders for me. I'll try upload my tactic, as it did very well for me in my first season (just started 2nd season)

Roughly goes something like this:

Full backs: mixed forward runs, about midway on att/def slider, crossing often from deep
Centre Backs: most of the way to the left on att/def slider, direct passing
Centre Mids: halfway on att/def slider (need to cover as you'll have 4 players advanced), mixed passing
Wingers: about 3/4 of the way accross on att/def slider, run with ball, forward runs, crossing often, cross from byline
AM: Free role, through balls often, run with ball often, forward runs often, att/def same as wingers
ST: att/def slider all way to right, run with ball, forward runs often

use torres as a target man and supply to feet, he skins defenders for fun

I have the same problem with liverpool, I want to play also with one striker and gerrard as amc. But I'm still struggling, I think the team instructions isnt good as should be.

can you check my tactics please. One for home and one for away games.

I've got supply set to "run onto ball". Is it better to have supply to feet then? Still in first pre season as only just started.

Waht sort of attributes should I be looking for in striker I want to supply to feet?

To be honest, that will probably work just as well. Torres is great for playing the ball on the floor, so hes probably one of the best to look at for a supply to feet striker. With these settings he banged in 35 goals in all competitions, and was voted the best player in the Champions League. Just make sure you get a decent backup, as Keane is a bit pants

I wish I had Keane, on 9.3 and all I've got is Ngog! Trying to bring in player who can cover for both Gerrard and Torres, so looking for AM/FC.
 
Trust me, you are better off without him, hes ****. average rating was well below 7. Fleck and Saivet can cover those positions (Fleck needs to be trained as AMR, and Saivet AMC) and I believe Marquinhos (Palmeiras) can too, but he depends of how much you can spend.
 
download a tactic called the man city goal scoring tactic play this formation with liverpool

torres

gerrard

babel alonso mascherano kuyt

aurelio/insua agger skrtel carragher

reina

then go to player instructions change torres creative freedom 2 clicks right of the middle no long shots click hold up ball

then do basically the same for gerrard but let him use long shots and put his creative freedom 3 clicks right of the middle and give yourself 3 games i beat united 4,1 torres (21,24,89) gerrard (1) arsenal 2,0 torres (47,69) fulham 6,0 torres(7,16,48) gerrard(0.28 seconds 14,56)
