The centerbacks are a limited defender and a ball playing defender both on defendthe other two are wingbacks set on automatic.
two wide midfielders set on attack, a ball winning midfielder on defend, a deep lying playmaker on support
one striker is trequartista and the other to complete forward both on attack.

My goalscoring is not a problem, im having problems with my defence cause theyre allowing too many goals per game...

pique is the ball playing defender and puyol the limited defender
I play xavi on deep lying playmaker, either mascherano or busquets on ball winning midfielder
messi the trequartista (awesome!!!) and got fernando llorente on complete forward (also awesome)

You could try pulling your ball winning midfielder back to the DMC position and playing him as an anchor man, if you tweak his settings right then he will drop back almost as a third DC when you're under pressure or your wingbacks are caught out of position.

Have a look at some of the barce tactics, I think a lot of them use that sort of movement.

Same thing happened to me. Ur defence is pushed up to much and i woudnt give to much creative freedom. try playing offside aswell....

I gave u on it and went 4-3-3 with pedro messi and villa upfront. Scored an amazing amount of goals.... then i signed aguero to get rid of pedro....

well i changed the ball winning midfielder to a dm anchor an and mentality to defensive but not too much and the keeper to sweeper keeper support and had a couple of clean sheets... ill keep u guys posted...

if you have ball winning midfielder on support role he will get the ball higher up the pitch, so maybe turn it into ball winning mid defend role. I think he will sit right infront of the defence.
