Takeover- Extra Files

In the Preferences section- under "Extra Files" there are lots of extra data files like vaild_takeovers_only and sugardaddy.

Are there any ways of unticking these and what exactly do they mean?

How do you untick them?

i would assume that unticking them would stop them from happening but i'm most likely wrong.
