Takeover

Hi all,

I have just started a new save with Newcastle and I am wondering if anyone knows if they get taken over during the first couple of seasons.

The budget is terrible so hoping for a cash injection at some point.

I got taken over before the January transfer window. I was taken over by a Bulgarian who floated the club on the stock exchange. They gave me £11m more in the transfer budget, however they also gave me £1m extra for the wage budget, so once that was transferred over I had about £40m extra to play with.

On the one club info screen, it will tell you the Chairman status. That is usually a pretty good indicator whether the chairman / owner is willing to be taken over, or even active looking for it. Given Ashley in real life, that seems like it should be the case.
