Hi Guys,

Something that just occurred to me when discussing a new contract offer with Wigan... would I not be better off having the smallest wage possible as manager?

This would allow me to better use the wage budget to sign players.

Am I missing something here, what benefits are there to me having a higher wage?

Thanks

Job security is better the more money you are on the more money it takes to sack you

Depends how realistic you want to play,

Usually people try to get as much as possible, so really its up to you :p

The higher your wage, the safer you are when things are going badly (unless your club is owned by a sugar daddy where money is no problem) since they may not be able to afford to pay the compensation to sack you.

This is still why I kinda miss the point of the wage... you can't do anything with it! It only decides job security...

Also, you having a lesser wage doesn't mean it'll be allocated to the wage budget..
