Sorry to be a pain and I should know what a target man is but I don't think I do lol I know that the team try to seek him out but other then that I'm lost, can being set as a target man lead to loads of goals for the player? or is the target man used to help other players get in the goals?

thanks

A striker who is the target of passes from his teammates. A good target man will possess the strength to hold up the ball, hold off opponents and bring teammates into play. Target men are often tall, physical players who operate with their back to goal.

if he plays alone upfront of course he is going to be the focal point of your attacks and hoping he is going to finish a couple of chances he gets in a game...

if he plays alongside a player (preferably a Poacher or Advanced Forward) his job is to supply the quicker striker from the ball being pumped up field to either his head for flick ons or to his feet/chest to hold up the ball and look for support

Ok thanks for the reply mate, I have ronaldo as my TM on the right wing (inside forward) and he seems to be doing good.. Il probs untick him now and change it around.

When using a Target man, the best attributes to look for are; Off the Ball, Strength, First Touch, Technique, Composure and Balance.
