what shoul i do on team talk?
can team talk give some efect on game?(H)<):@

especially playing away. be moderate and say you could win.dunt be harsh at players even if you win 1-0 to a relagation battlers. players wont appreciate that.

There's a screen which I knew nothing about which might be of use to others. If you're playing at home, go to the option down the left hand side of the screen called Home Stats, if you're playing away, go to the option called Away Stats. In the top right hand corner of that screen is a 'view' option - select it and then choose 'motivation'.

This tells you the motivation levels for every player and how well they are playing in a text description. (You can also see your opposition's motivation screen by choosing the other Stats option and doing the same process).

Now I know that screen is there it's much easier to judge my half-time team talk. If a player is complacent, I'll let him now I'm displeased. If he's nervous, I'll tell him there's no pressure. If he's playing ok, then I'll consider whether he needs a morale boost (telling him I have faith in his ability) or he needs a kick up the backside (if his morale is good, very good or superb) or whether I should just leave him on a standard teamtalk such as 'for the fans' (means be professional - not just for use when playing rivals or in big matches) etc etc If the player is 'playing with confidence' then it's worth figuring out whether a rocket will 'fire him up' to an even better performance or not.

'None' as a teamtalk actually means 'you have been alright but nothing more or less than that'. I use it frequently now for players who did ok but I don't want to slate (harms their morale) or to praise (makes them complacent).

Hmm...I didn't know that option was there. I usually watch the game in 3d but commentary only so I can see the motivation of both teams all the time but that one is a useful one to know. Thanks Zeb:D

yeah I stepped on that menu too and I use it now, but usually it goes for the supporters at home with personalize team talk if things go bad for one player, but I came to the point in which if he hasn't performed I just sub him.

This is what I'll do.

Pre-Game:
If I'm hugely expected to win, I'll say I expect a win.
When my team are up against it, I use the bookies odds to determine this but I'll that they can win this.
If it's an even game that could go either way, I'll say nothing.

Half Time:
If we are winning, I'll say nothing.
If we are losing/drawing, but playing well, its we can win this.
If we are losing/drawing and playing badly, I'll go with disappointed/I want to see more from you.

Post-game:
Regardless of result, anyone below a 6 gets disappointed. Anyone above a 6 gets pleased. And anyone above an 8 gets delighted.
