Teams are getting use to the way you play if you havent changed your tactics, so they know how to break you down more effectively. Also defenders are getting older and so not as good, only advice would be to change defensive line instructions a little in your tactics....

Seems to be a myth, never noticed that myself. Its true that no matter how good squad you have, time will come when team suddenly starts playing well below their potential. However , i find best counter for this sort of thing is not adjusting your tactics, but to constantly introduce fresh blood into the team, and picking players with proper personality traits.

As unrealistic as that is, once good tactic, always good tactic.
