What teams have fallen over recent years but are still in the top division ? maybe not the worst team but a team thats not as dominant than they used to be from what i remember watching Ajax and Monaco would be examples of this as Dutch league used to be a one horse race every year and Monaco were always in and around the top[ of the table

Liverpool this year although they are in top 6 and i would say SWFC and Leeds but there not in Prem

Lyon - Won the league 10 years on the trot but now haven't won it in about 4 years and always struggle domestically.

Liverpool - haven't won a league title in over 20 years and although they're still a big team, they aren't the force they used to be.

Notts Forest - Used to be massive, now not even in the Premier League.

There are loads.

I would also add PSG to that...although they are having a decent season.......Leeds have to be the biggest one for me with all their history......Galatasaray have become a side on a downwards spiral imo

Yes there are many but i used to enjoy their games so much

liverpool, leeds, forest, derby, huddersfield, are a few that come to mind.

Leeds is the first one that comes to mind but there is so many more -
Southampton
Charlton
Nottingham Forest
Juventus
Parma
Lazio
Ajax
Boavista
Steaua Bucharest
Paris Saint Germain
Dynamo Dresden
Stade Reims
Ferencvaros
New York Cosmos (Defunct since 1985)

Know one has mentioned boro yet, 2006 UEFA cup finalists now fighting to stay in the championship.

Like Monaco Champions league finals 2004 and now hanging on to their top flight status by their fingernails

Liverpool, Everton (why do people not mention Everton? They used to be a pretty big team in the 80's), Juventus, Lyon is a good shout too, ten years in a row, haven't won it in 4 years.

A little lesser known is Ferencvaros, who are Hungary's greatest team ever, haven't actually won the league in six seasons because Debrecen's dominance.

for years in ireland it was shamrock rovers, they were the manchester united of ireland, and in the 70s were a team on the rise. however they were homeless for like 20 years or somethin but now have the best stadium in league and won the league for first time in years last season. theyw ere wven in division 1 for a season
