Test Your Tactics (11.3)

I have created this thread to allow users to test tactics against each other and see which tactic is the most successful:

Download the database:
Test Your Tactics (11.3) - Downloads - FM-Base - Football Manager 2011 Tactics, Wonderkids, Updates & Cheats

Start a new game with the australian league selected (Tactic Testing League 11.3) and a medium database with no transfer budgets enabled (see screenshot).

Select Tactic Testing FC then select the tactic you wish to test and then go on holiday and select the always use tactic tab and return from holiday date 1.6.2011 (see screenshots)

when you have finished the season upload a screenshot of your league table and the tactic you tested and I will add it to the leaderboard on this thread.

Feel free to test any tactic you like on this thread and the more people that test each tactic will give a much more accurate result.

Great, I'm testing right now, hope you don't mind if I changed the match preparation cause I don't wanna test my tactic with "none" selected.
 
Finished testing with my Tornado 3-4-3 - the currently uploaded version, with defensive positioning for match preparation.
 
Might use this later to test the tactic I am making at the moment :)

Will upload results when done.
 
Holidaying doesn't give a fair judgement on the tactic.
 
Anyone could just edit stats and make transfers using FMRTE and get away with it to be honest.

Do you really think that matches played when holidaying are calculated differently than matches you watch?

The outcome would be different, yes.
As the skills between you and your assistant (who will basically be manager while on holiday) are different.
 
I tested Mr Houghs tactic and got pretty much identical results as Letto2s same position 2pts less with slightly better GD +13. I wonder if every tactic will perform pretty much the same?
 
If you did this twice, once holidaying and then again you actually playing it, I assure you it'll be a pretty bid difference.
 
I managed to win the league in my second season with an original tactic, i do have some reservations as to how successful this tool is as you provide a very good squad and the results may not be replicated with a "normal" team. Otherwise a very helpful tool and thank you.

Well, when testing tactics that doesn't matter, there is the same assistant for everyone.

And of course there is a big difference in results when you holiday vs. when you play the games yourself, because of the assistant, but there is same conditions for every tactic.
 
I think you should do it Will like you did last year? the best way to get the most accurate results, some wankers will inevitably cheat!
 
I would mate but I havn't got the time and cant be done with the abuse I got on the last thread.
 
I managed to get 5th place, 101 points (6th had 93 points) and +49 GD, 97 scored and 48 conceded with my own 4-2-3-1. My striker wasn't as good as he should be, scored on average about 0,5 goals each game. AML and AMC got 23 and 21 assists, not bad.

I don't know how to take screenshots (or my computer can't handle it), so not going to post them, so not going to be in leaderboard. I haven't uploaded my tactic anyway, but I was surprised how well it worked.
 
This sounds good, will do this now for three of my tactics (if thats ok) and post the results and screenshots

haha, its coming up with the kits and logo of my made up team, must be the same ID!!
 
Hmmm. So um may I ask what's the point?(Not saying it's not a good idea) But is it just to see if the tactic works in a league?
