Testimonials?

So I have my assistent set up my friendlies... and a testimonial of Garry Monk against swansea apeared. Now I play as Heerenveen in the Dutch eredivisie... I have no player with a history of being in a team with him, not even a single player from the prem. I am not even the same nationality... Is this random?!

That is because Swansea wanted to do a testimonial for there player against you...Gary Monk has been there for years.

could someone run me through the conditions to have a testimonial again??? The only one I've had is for Petr Cech and have plenty of long serving players who retire and dont get one.
