I know this is a local news story, but I thought it worthy a mention, as there is a lot of bleak news out there at the moment.
Blyth cancer sufferer Cory Davison brings Christmas cheer to RVI - Chronicle News - News - ChronicleLive
I just think it's absolutely remarkable that a 7 year old lad, who is battling for his life, decides to put that to one side, to hand out presents to other kids on christmas day, bearing in mind he doesn't have the all clear yet. And taking into account how tough things must be, when his dad was disgracefully sacked from his job for "having too much time off work to look after his son".
It'll make me think twice before I start whinging about something trivial.
Fingers crossed for this brave lad
