Well I started a new game and I haven't seen any posts about people taking on low league Scottish teams so I thought I'd be the first...

I havent chosen to use Reunion, I'm not editing (I don't know how) and I don't cheat by turning it off whenever I lose.

That is the first screenshot of many :).

I'm starting with more wages than I should have already but I will be reducing everyone in the teams wages.

I will update this post with my signings and releases and further information once the transfer window has closed, so I can do it all at once.

Annan being doing really well this season in Third Division I think there in playoff position.

5th I believe and Yeah I definetly agree, the done really well :) and I'd pretty much say they are a good addition for Gretna's (basically death) closing down.
 
good luck mate, will keep an eye on this thread. I tried to take my local team Carluke Rovers to the spl with no rep editing etc but i got a crash dump and it wouldnt re load :(
 
The transfer window isn't over but... I've made all the signings I want/need.

Marco Pelosi was lucky they wanted £1000 and he was rated £16000 so I just offered £0 and managed to get him :).

Porteous has a 6 star potential and is now the best goalkeeper in the squad.

Well I'm confident of my new look team and tactics through the friendlies because I had a few tough ones...
 
Update

So I have played 4 games in the league and won them all!!!
I am still unbeaten other than the Airdrie game, including beating Brechin.

I have made a most intriguing and extraordinary signing for a LLM.

I managed to sign Josh Lambo (GK) after he was released by Dallas, he has high potential at the start of the game for teams like Celtic so the fact that he signs on the 19.11.08 is great :D.
 
Unfortunately I just lost against St. Johnstone 2 - 1.

I got manager of the month and my young signing won player of the month.

:D
 
September update

Ok, I am still unbeaten in the league but I did draw 1 - 1 with Montrose.

My team couldn't handle David *** from Killie.

So I didn't get manager of the month nor did my player get the player of the month but 8 games in 7 games won and 1 game drawn :D.

I did get second spot top boss, so I'm still happy. Liam Cusack my young striker got second place for player of the year.

I had the same idea mate. jus won the third division with albion rovers. all good !!!
 
October Update

Well I beat Lossiemouth to get to the scottish cup 3rd round and got another non-league team... woot! lol

My signing of Anthony Mason is an abberation unfortunately he has the stats to be the best striker in the 3rd division but he just wont deliver and was dropped from the subs bench aswell...

still unbeaten in the league 10 games in! 9 games won and 1 drawn.

Lambo signs this month thankfully because the pressure is starting to get to Ross Porteous and he is conceding more often.

I also got manager of the month award for october :).

Cant wait to see how you do in divison 2 when you get there :)
 
November update

So I'm still unbeaten and played the whole of december will update later...

I now have Lambo in my team... I have a young newgen coming in january who is class... and I managed to get Matej Rapnek in january because he was out of contract :D.

that is it though.

Ross Hepburn was class up till the end of November but now Cusack in December is the top goalscorer, also my young striker and he has 12 in 15 I think :) Hepburn has 10 in 20 that is both in the league :).
 
December Update

Well still unbeaten but my team is starting to fall apart I've noticed that when Lambo goes out on international duty...

I'm thinking of a complete change of tactic set, so I'll sit down and create one tonight... half the season played woot!

I think I'm pretty much guaranteed to win this division lol. Next season I will be aiming to consolidate in the 2nd division.

I have one big aim of getting Luca Santonocito from Celtic next season wether it be loan or buy.

I won Manager of the month aswell, expectedly, The young lad Mark McBride scored a double in his second game after January I'll post, which game, just so you know I lost in it but it was a against a premier division team.

I see you have a good young team.

Ive been thinking of doing something like this with a scottish team,
because the english league is starting to get a bit boring.

Would you reccomend it?
