So: There are loads of threads, but very few replies, and even fewer that offer an attempt at a solution.
You/I get a black screen after the loading bits finish, but the game's cursor is still there and movable. The game is still responsive, but the screen is black. So, there's no skin for the game to load. Uninstalling/reinstalling the game for whatever reason doesn't fix this, nor does deleting the SI files.
So, if some kind soul uploaded their 'skins' folder, putting that into the SI folders may well fix the issue.
Can someone do this?
