David Moyes Leave's Club On Mutual Consent

After some amazing seasons at the helm, David Moyes and Everton Football Club have decided to part ways after agreeing that Moyes had did all he could with the Merseyside club. David Moye's who's been heavily linked with the Manchester United job, once Sir Alex ferguson retires had this to say when he left the training for his final time -

"It's a shame, im going to miss this - it was like another home. Wish I could of done more..oh well, i've enjoyed my times here and Im sure the board will bring in someone more than capable of bringing success at the club."

When asked about the Manchester United rumours, David Moyes refused to comment, and quickly laughed off the question. Although Sir Alex Ferguson, may be around for a while yet - pundits are already believing Moyes is getting himself ready for the job, however for Everton it's time for themselves to find a new manager and with not much money to spend at the club, it will be interesting to see who they bring in.

Bookie's are already speculating that they may bring in an un-experianced, fresh faced manager to tighten the wage budget at Goodison Park. It's also believed that whoever takes charge may have to deal with some aggreviated players who was brought in by David Moyes.

"Rookie Manager" Josh McQueen Announced New Everton Manager

As predicted, Everton have decided to hire a young up and coming manager in order to keep the wage budget down and save themselve money. New manager Josh McQueen has been brought in on a two year contract and already Everton supporters are voicing there concern of such an un-proven manager to take the reigns of Goodison Park.

Irish born, Josh McQueen was previously managing Northen Irish side Crusaders after losing his playing career at an early stage. In his four year spell at Crusaders, he won one league title and two domestic cups - however the difference between the Northen Irish Premier League and the Barclays Premier League is the same as a Ferrari and a Skoda. Nobody can take it away from McQueen, but is he really ready for the big leagues?

Also it seems McQueen's first job is to try and keep Everton's highly talented and respected left back, Leighton Baines at the club, with Tottenham already declaring major interest in the player, it seems that the lure of challenging for the top four, plus Europa League football might be too much for Baines to turn down - McQueen will do well if he can keep such a player at the club.

The majority of the talk around Goodision Park for the last few weeks has been about the future of left-back Leighton Baines, as Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City had reportably all declared interested in the talented player. McQueen expressed his desire to keep Baine's but knew it might not be possible if the right amount of money came in from him.

After rejecting more than five bids for the player from various different clubs, Everton adventually accepted a bid for Leighton Baines from Arsenal of a fee of £12,000,000. With just day's to the big kick-off to the new season of the Barclay's Premier League, Baine's completed his move to Arsenal. The money brought in for Everton is thought to help them strengthen there squad in other areas.

Everton have been linked to Villareal's striker Nilmar, who's been transfer listed for a fee of around £8,000,000. A talented striker to play upfront alongside Louis Saha, wouldd be an ideal partnership seen by many at Goodison Park. Also Liam Ridgewell is also being linked as a replacement for Leighton Baines in left back, but a bid has yet to be made.

Everton's first game of the season is at home against Premiership new boy's and Championship champions, Queens Park Rangers. Although Everton will be going into the game with alot of confidence after finishing there pre-season with a 100% record. Comfortable performances throughout the games have proved that Everton look better than ever under new manager Josh McQueen as there set for the new season of the Premier League.
