Sorry about the title,couldn't help it hehe. Since my rochdale story's data got corrupt i've started one as AFC Bournemouth. bare with me i'm new to stories :D

Bournemouth- a club with a great history,but a club on the fall,due to finnancial problems today annouced that Eddie Howe would step down and be replaced by rookie manager A. Viggers
Howe was sick of the financial state and decided to move on against the Cherries wishes.
The fans were optimistic about Viggers,one caught saying "Howe had never managed before us,so i have high hopes for Viggers'"
The club is under a transfer embargo until the end of october 09

Viggers' acted quickly to admire ***** Topp,and quoting that he'd love to sign him,after the embargo is lifted.Of course.
Noel Haverty of St.Pats Athletic is also rumoured to be a favourite of Viggers'.Whose contract runs out in decemeber.


Not a bad pre-season,the obvious high point was the win over Spurs,but those results have given me high hopes for the season ahead Tbh, the strikers seem to be geling very well.

Fletcher and Pitman are class upfront together :)
 
Great start against Bury Fletcher with the only goal.Slightly worrying that we had plenty of chances but couldn't score,then near the end Bury created alot of chances and we can count ourselves lucky. Still good start.Fletcher got the Motm.
I played in a diamond 4-1-2-1-2 as a tester and it worked well.

I'll definitely be following mate, my parents have season tickets there and I went to watch them against Bury today - We were dismal.

And Max, I do hope you are talking about in FM? Because in real life they are shocking, all Pitman does is stand on the same spot all game, some may say he is a poor mans Berbatov.
 
Very disapointed with the aldershot game- i though we would win it,but in the end we were lucky to get the draw. I kinda' knew what would happen in the peterborough game, so i tried to man mark Boyd and Coutts,but they kept getting behind us in the full back slots.
I'm really missing the inability to bring in players,hopefully though i can get Topp in,which will help.
 
Well, what a bad spell,is all i can say,we've been dominating games with 60+ possession but we just can't seem to score. Which i thought would be the area we'd excell in,with fletcher and Pittman. We have some good players,but they're not performing,luckily though,Danny Hollands who according to reports is my best player is coming back from injury. We're in 19th place. I'm thinking of selling Pittman in jjanuary and bringing in Topp from Belgium,that is if i get a good offer for him of course.

Bit late like,but i thought i'd put on this thread that my PC was wiped few week ago,guess i didn't so i've lost it.
I'm hoping on starting a new story with another League 2 team shortly.

And Jack, he has been scoring goals but thats it - He does sod all apart from that, stands there and does sweet **** all.
