My pitch at San Marino is in a terrible state, it's being relaid at the end of the season so it's not all bad, but I was wondering if this actually has an impact on the match engine? Does it make passing tactic's more difficult, cause more injuries, players get tired quicker? Or is it purely for aesthetic reasons?
Cheers

It does impact the match engine just as a downpour will. For example, if it's wet and you play a short passing game, intercepts are more likely to happen because the ball will slow down in the water and not reach the receiver.
I imagine a bad pitch condition would hinder players' dribbling abilities. I haven't experienced it, so I don't know for sure...

I'm never really sure about wet conditions, I get that the ball could get slowed down but surely long balls would skid off the surface and be harder to control?
