The Greek League

Hi folks!

Does anyone here have any experience with the Greek league? I decided to go with APS Panthrakikos Komitinis in the second tier. Is the league relatively rich or do I have to rely on talents only to get money in the bank?

A bit off topic, but I have the idea to make this club, a club with Greek and Turkish players

I don't really know how rich they are, but I think they are as rich as the portuguese league. So there are only two or 3 teams which who are good enough for european football and the rest isn't that good. But I've never played in greece, so you can try it

You won't have much money from TV, league or sponsorships, and selling players is also difficult esp for smaller clubs (I managed Xanthi and best offers were always from Qatar or Emirates)

On the other hand the level of the Superleague isn't so high except for 2-3 teams so you should soon be able to compete for CL/Euro cup spots. I got 2nd place in first season with Xanthi (H) before losing interest in the save

It could be worth to load players from Cyprus league, there are some good cheap players and you might also get some surprisingly good regens

The Portuguese league is better and richer. I reckon Benfica, Porto, Sporting and Braga's values put together about matches the value of every Greek Superleague team put together.

I just realised that you could only have 5 foreigners playing, so I decided to quit my game before the season started. I couldn't even make a real tactic with the Greek players I had left! Thanks for the help though.
