Hello guys this guide has been specifically made to stop all the pointless threads asking for help with manchester city. I will do a squad analysis and will hopefully make a good guide. I will recommend signings and players to sell as well as players to keep.

The expectations
Continetal qualification through league finish- 55 million pounds
Title challenge- 73 million pounds
Winner -79 million pounds
The realistic target is definitely continental qualification, new team of players and some poor stats on some players as si got lazyoO)

The squad analysis 4-4-2 style

Goalkeepers
Shay Given
Stuart Taylor
Gunnar Nielsen
Shay given is the better keeper by a mile, taylor is decent but maybe not good enough for backup, i would recommend neil alexander from rangers as a replacement for nielsen, he is experienced and he wouldnt have to step in often anyway

Right Backs
Micah Richards
Nedum Onouha
Pablo Zabaleta
To be honest a weak area of the team, zabaleta is more of a wing back, just my opinion but i prefer a defensive full back, richards is mainly a center back but plays here well, the same with onouha, recommend alexandr anyukov or rafinha as a replacement

Left Backs
Wayne Bridge
Jeremy Helan
Sylvinho
Joleon "Clingon" Lescott
Javier Garrido
A strong area of the team usually, but si made wayne bridges tactics very poor which did not impress me at all, he has to be replaced sadly, helan is one for the future, sylvinho should be gotten rid of as soon as possible, and Joleon lescott can play there but is a preferred center back. Garrido has to go he is shocking and you can get 4m for him, not that that matters with city

Center backs
Kolo Toure
Joleon "Clingon" Lescott
Micah Richards
Nedum Onouha
Vincent Kompany
Probably one of the best areas in this team, good depth and none of them are knocking on, toure and lescott preferably, onouha and richards must be kept at all costs as they are for the future, kompany is a preferred defensive midfielder in my eyes

Defensive Midfielders
Nigel De Jong
Vincent Kompany
Pablo Zabaleta
A good area of the team, De Jong is very under rated and Kompany is for the future, try gokhan inler as he is very good at this level and is the udinese captain and star player for them

Center Midfielders
Gareth Barry
Vincent Kompany
This is a very uncommon position as most people now specialise in a def mid or att mid role, but kompany can play there, however gareth barry probably one of the better players at city is very important if the team wants to challenge in the top four

Left Midfielders/wingers
Martin Petrov
Robinho
Gareth Barry
A good but not deep area of the team, i prefer robinho in the center though i think he is very over rated around the world si make him class so i do play him, petrov is my choice definitely, i would train craig bellamy to a left winger definitely. Gareth barry is a traditional left midfielder but not really a winger, id try david silva

Right Midfielders/wingers
Robinho
Shaun Wright Phillips
Stephen Ireland
Vladimir Weiss
A great area of the team, one of the best, wright phillips is my first choice as i prefer ireland down the center, robinho sadly only makes it sometimes, i said above i play him but only sometimes, i prefer ireland he works alot harder than robinho. Weiss is one for the future and according to my best scout he can be a good premiership player, hopefully i blend him through slowly and dont rush him.

Attacking Midfielders Center
Robinho
Craig Bellamy
Stephen Ireland
Ireland is my choice by far, bellamy is a striker and has this a second role, robinho in my opinion is very lazy.

Strikers
Emmanuel Adebayor
Carlos Tevez
Roque Santa Cruz
Craig Bellamy
Benjani
Hands down the best area of the team, adebayor acts as a target man and i like to use tevez as a work horse, santa is as well a target man, bellamy usually warms the bench for people, benjani should be sold as soon as possible, though i like him he doesnt quite cut it

Ones to look out for in the future
Nedum Onouha
Micah Richards
Stephen Ireland
Jeremy Helan
Vladimir Weiss
Alex Nimely

Players to sell
Javier Garrido
Sylvinho
Benjani

Players to loan out
Alex Nimely
Vladimir Weiss
Jeremy Helan

Players to sign
I know i mentioned some above but here are some others
Steven Jovetic- One for the future with strong attributes that can only improve drastically
Rafinha- good strong right back
Neil Alexander- good backup keeper, experienced and knows his way around
David Villa or david silva- i always get one of these, silva usually because man city already have good strikers'

Tactics
Not the best tactician but try Jp woodys V1 tactics, if they dont work i dont want a whole spam saying that im a ******, as i said im not a good tactician
Get them from here

I hope this helped as i spent about 45 minutes on it, i hope people chose city as their future team, good luck and i hope you enjoy reading it, i used the layout of gatids arsenal so please thank him also

not my cup of tea to use, but for the people who need/want it, really good and in depth. nice

this is a really good guide and should stop a lot of pointless threads

very good guide i might be man city after i have got bored with my west ham save. i will defo refer to this if i have ne trouble

good in depth guide thnaks for this

have u any attacking central midfielders you would recomend as i dont like ireland

oh lol your one of those irish who wont forgive him lol, anyway i would say elano but hes gone, try arda turan

omg did i forget johnno, i should dive head first into an empty swimming pool

Why is everyone saying "really in depth guide" when there is a list of 3 or 4 possible signings? Surely an in depth guide would have given 3 or 4 possibilities for EACH position?

Honestly, this forum is full of some right looney tunes.

I've never been them and I know my budget would go on 2 new full backs, a centre back, a right mid/winger and a centre mid. You've basically got unlimited funds, buy whoever you want!

If you don't like it shut up, get off the thread and get off the forum. Simple.
