Introduction

Hello everyone and welcome to my new and hopefully final story for fm12, ive decided to go French side Stade Rennais as i like a challenge and i feel this save will be very interesting for me to play as well as for you guys to follow the journey.


Anyway as i know pretty much nothing about this club here is some information/tactics..

Looking at the Team report ill be planning on doing some business in the transfer market but looking stronger than expected.


Long Term Plans

As i dont really like setting myself longer term goals over like 5-10 years im going to take it season by season and see where it takes me as i know this league will be very hard as there are alot of top teams to play.

3/4 Strikers ruled out on long term injuries

Poor Pre-Season overall

Very little activity in the transfer market due to the level of ability i feel the club need and deserves im failing to bring in anyone and also due to the very small transfer budget.



Pre-Season Review

Was rather positive results but im now very gutted as i will only have 1 striker in the squad for around 1-2 months which is looking to be a very poor start to the season given he is the weakest striker. The transfer market was also something i was disappointed with as i was hoping for a higher quality of players but it will be good to work with what ive got for more of a challenge and also get a better understanding of the side over the season.


Season Plans

Well ive quickly figured out that it is going to be a much harder season and save than i first thought but it will make the story much more interesting to read and for me to play. I am still hoping for a top 6 finish for European football although the board are looking for a top half finish, will be a hard accomplishment but im hoping i can achieve it and of course get a better understanding of the team over the season is key.

My main concern is having just the one striker but hopefully we can start positive and get points on the board.

Your strike force looks small and weak at the moment, maybe try and bring in Del Piero or Michael Owen on a free. Ivan Klasnic and Hernan Crespo would also be decent options.

Wouldn't say it was weak, but maybe smaller than id like but given 2 of them are still very young its just really unlucky ive got 3 injuries that all happen to be in the same position..
 
Try getting Soukana mate, he's usually on a free and a great striker. Looking foward to this never seen a Rennais story on here before. M'Vila will be by far your Talisman. Please checkout mine mate. Bayern Munich - The German Unit

Thanks alot for commenting mate, yeah just been hard finding the right players with very little cash and i dont like rushing into signing players which dosent help lol!

I know what you mean, loaning is always good. You can just chuck them out if they're *****. If your using LFC Marshalls update try loan Dybala from Palermo.
 
Good luck managing them mate! Try to get best out of Pitriopa, he can get a lot of goals and assists!
