The king of Manchester walks into the crowded room, full of expectatant journalists, the people he used to dispise as a player ... silence fell apon the room as everyone looked at the man who was taking over the huge responsibility of managing the greatest club in the world, then suddenly ... one sole man with long scraggy hair resembling George Best gets to his feet and starts slowely clapping whilst not taking his eyes off Mr. Cantona, Eric replies with a smile and a bow of recognision of the male clapping then takes his seat looking full of confidence.

Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes have both came out publically today to reassure fans they have faith in Cantona's ability to manage such a massive club, Giggs added 'hes the greatest player i've played with, whose to say he won't be the greatest manager i've played under?'
Cantona has admitted he made mistakes as a player but wants to get down to business as a manager, he left the game after falling out of love with the beautiful game, his love is back and so are Manchester United ....
* Press conference coming shortly.

Mr. Cantona, Welcome to Manchester have you missed us ?
I have missed certain aspects of Britain, your fine weather is always a pleasure. I have missed the love of this club being here previously i had a relationship with the fans which i want to recindle.
How on earth did you manage to get this job Eric, you have no previous management history, surely its a huge gamble being taken by you as a man and the board ?
Life is about gambles my friend, i have lived a great life as a footballer but Cantona the footballer is dead i am back to finish what Sir Alex started and knock Liverpool further off their purch. I love this club, the people and many of the players will love me because i am me and i have love.
Big shoes to fill, will you be adjusting your squad in the coming weeks before the season starts?
I want to take this ermmm, moment, to thank Mr. Ferguson for recommending to the board that i was appointed as manager, he has helped me greatly in life and the man is someone i owe alot of gratitude too. Secondly, yes i have bought a few players already but i am keeping them under wraps and they'll all be announced together and will give the footballing world a shock.
What players will be leaving?
Ah, nice question. I can firmly say i have targeted players to leave and have clubs intrested in my players. Ji Sung Park, O'Shea, Cleverley and Eikrem will all hopefully be furthering their career's elsewhere this season as i have replacements for them in mind already. Deals will be done in days i am not a man to wait and i am not a man who just talks, action will be my philosophy as a manager.
Thank you all for coming today but i must dash, i am going to meet one of my targets who will hopefully be making the trip from the other side of Manchester shortly, that is all goodbye.
