This should be fun...
Okay, I'll keep this part short and sweet because I get dismissed from class in about 20 minutes (woops (H)). Regardless, I'm new to the whole FM Manager Stories scene and this is my first year playing FM full time so you guys will have to bare with me (I can't fix SOME things). For my first save and story, I decided to go with Napoli in Serie A. It's a team that interests me and I think it is a team I will be able to develop into Italian giants.
The stories name, "The Large Donkeys" comes from one of the club's nicknames, "I ciucciarelli" which stands for "The Little Donkeys" in local dialect. They were given this nickname for their poor performance in the 1926-27 season where they finished dead last among the ten teams that played in the Divisione Nazionale. They scored just one point (1 draw, 17 losses) and finished the year scoring 7 goals and allowing 61 (and I thought Villa was bad :$). The nickname was originally meant as a derogatory term but the club embraced the nickname and later changed their club's mascot to a donkey.
You may be wondering what my plans are for this save and they're simple. I want to turn Napoli into Italian giants and world giants. I want to not only dethrone Juventus as champions of the Serie A but I also want to win the UEFA Champions League and maybe get an international job in the save.
This isn't my official introduction. Instead it's a mere small introduction with the limited resources I have available on this school computer. I have read a lot of the saves on here, including PatrickLFC's "Taking Southampton North", one of which I have thoroughly enjoyed reading and following from afar.
I plan to tell this story in both mock news articles and the views of my manager (who's backstory will come sooner than later).
I hope you join me on this journey and help me out along the way. Reading is greatly appreciated by myself and I hope you do!
