Inverness. I'm not scottish but they're fun.
Royal Antwerp they're a sleeping giant in the belgian second division. Recommend
Fleetwood Town a league 1 side climbing up the football league.

I second Inverness, also Hearts however could be quite a simple season. In England i suggest Coventry or Burton

The Stanley's have to be your pick. It's a challenge, and everybody loves a challenge.

I did a bit of experimenting and Antwerp could be a beast of a team if you let them off their leash a few improvemts and they could be great again also the mechanics of the belgian leagues are quite interesting.
Also inverness is fun as you get to challenge the big boys of scottish football and europe.

"Dad, can I have eggs for breakfast?"
Ronald ( me the manager ) : "Sure, as long as you promise to clean your room today."
Perfect, the best way to make him do something essential, i thought.
"Dea-" RING RING
"Woops hold on"
Picking up my phone, i glanced at the person calling. Hmm, unknown eh? Interesting.
R : "Hello?"
Peter McKay (New owner of Royal) : "Hello, we heard lots about you from your coaching role at your local youth team and we would like to hold a meeting with you to see if your the right man for the prestigious team of Royal Antwerp. Are you available?"
1000 things spurred through my head. I did coach this fantastic team of U12's before, we won everything together, and have been unbeaten for the last 4 years. Great accomplishments, but to deserve a professional contact I wasn't so sure.
R: "Certainly, I think can take on the job of Royal Antwerp, if that is you see enough managerial quality"
PM: "Excellent, we shall hold the meeting soon, as we want someone in as soon as July comes around. The meeting will take place at the Bosuilstadion, Antwerp, Belgium, where we will participate in an interview tomorrow. See you then."
Sweat trickled down my palms, my son looked at me in the eyes with anticipation.
"Son, I may have a professional managerial job soon"
My son gasped, hugged me tight and said "Go for it".
I couldn't sleep that night, interview disasters sped through my mind, as, at 12:00 am, I finally did close my eyes.

Peter Mckay, New Owner of Antwerp Brings Wealth to the Local Club
Those were the front page headlines of all newspapers that morning, as I dressed myself for a busy day. Niel Silva, my son, was doing his own laundry, ever since the tragic moment that took his mother. "Niel, should I wear my blue suit or my red one," I asked curiously. "Well if you think about it, Antwerp's jersey colour is red, therefore, I would go for red."
Always so helpful, I reflected.
I opened the rusty doors of the main office, rusty smells filled my nose like a cloud spreading over the sky. Not the best stadium condition, I did think.
"You must be Ronald Lowe,"
"Certainly," I stated, with the most professional voice I could muster.
"Welcome, I am the club's secretary, Linda Wells, I assume you came for that interview?"
R : "Of course, thank you for the welcoming." She chuckled slowly, almost like one of those crazy goat laughs, I almost jittered myself at the thought of it.
L : "Oh, you are welcome, please have a seat"
R: "Thank you."
I headed myself into one of those non-comfortable chairs laying in the corner of the room. I sighed, is this what the newspapers and media call wealth, not rich enough for decent waiting chairs. I waited and waited and waited until finally the door to the main office opened.
PM: "Ah, welcome Ronald, please have a seat."

PM: " You have to know, Antwerp is a serious club with serious history."
R : "I am aware of the fact Antwerp once had the capacity to be runners-up in the Champions league."
All the research had paid off, just what I needed.
PM " Indeed, and as new owners to this club, we will have the capacity to give you new transfer budget to work with to get us to those height."
R: "With all the respect sir, it will take some while to eventually turn into one of those mighty clubs with the capacity to achieve those things."
PM: "Yes, I am aware, for now we need to stabilize ourselves properly in this new lower league, this includes objectives like a mid-table finish, a decent cup run and experienced transfers."
"Sir, I won't follow these stupid objectives, we have the capacity to finish in the promotion places, look for excellent players, and believe it or not, we have the power to win the cup, I honestly thought the same ambitions, sir."
PM: " Interesting perspective, although, we do not believe our club is in the state to do that at this moment."
R:"Sir, think, all those clubs that have been the underdogs in the last seasons, they had the support from their board, and that is why they have been successful, we can't just play for fun, we have to play to win games and titles."
I was pretty sure my time at the Bosuilstadion was done, before it even started.
That was not the case, in fact, the chairman stood up and said, "You have the job, congrats."

Good start. Glad you went with my suggestion, I made them achieve European glory hope you do the same.

When do you think you'll release your next update? Sorry just intrigued.
