The Manchester United Thread

With Antony gone and Villa covering 75% of Rashford’s wages — United’s player wage bill will drop down to 6th in the PL (annualized), and Villa is rapidly closing the gap so 7th isn’t far away. United wage bill is now practically only half of City’s.
Just seen Ornstein saying Villa could cover upto 90% of Rashfords wages if he plays well. Even better! Good to have competent people on transfers at last.
Good news on the wages front, now lets hope Rashford gets enough of an improvement to fleece Villa for the 90%. Even bigger bonus would be the £40million fee at the end of the season, £40m of pure profit.

Not the transfer window the club and fans will have wanted but at least they have hopefully sorted the LWB issue shame they weren't so sucessful getting a more prolific striker.

Was what I expected. Shifting out more and hoped we would bring in a LWB. Added bonus was the left sided CB from Arsenal. Also seems we got Quenda RWB from sporting pretty much wrapped up for the summer also. Which will be another fantastic young signing.

Our fans made me laugh throughout the window. WE MUST GET AN ATTACKER! Then everyone we tried to get on loan HES NOT GOOD ENOUGH! These attackers go elsewhere WHY DIDNT WE SIGN THEM. #GlazersOut #IneosOut #clubsFinished #WeAreAJoke.

True but it would of been nice to give Hojlund and Zirkee a little support in the form of an more experienced forward. The money saved on wages with all those loan deals will help come the summer when the real work will need to be done. There weren't really many outright deals of note anywhere (apart from Citeh who are trying to spend their way out of a 'poor' season) mostly loans and small priced sales which proves that PSR is taking affect with most clubs.
