Is having loads of Coach's better the having less?
My board will allow me to have up to 22 Coach's would that be ideal?
To sum this up, I have all my old pretty garbage Coach's at the club, about 12 of them, so I have also signed some much better ones aswell, and now have about 20 Coach's, So should sack my old ones and just have my new? or just have all 20 working together?

Plus, just a quick question what 3 main stats does a assistant manager need as Im hoping to replace him to? Or better yet any good assistant managers out there that you know of that are class, would be good?

Hope you can help me thanks in advance.

tactical knowledge is very important not sure on the other 2.

just get enough coaches so your coaching is al 7 star or w/e the max star rating is plus workload should be kept lightish, as long as its not heavy

Judging player ability, tactics, motivation and tactical knowledge is what i look for.

Determination, Adaptability, Motivation and Tactical Knowledge is what I look for seems towork :)

According to extensive analysis by the experts arounf the SI forums, the skill of the coach doesn't increase the effect of the training.

The number of stars just indicates how many players the coachis able to train without having too large a workload.

As user Smac on the SI forums recap:

As we find out in the thread, 7 star coaches can coach more players before their workload goes from 'light' to 'medium', etc.., which is what you pay for with 7 stars, NOT increased player development. 7 Star coaches will enable you to mold your players more quickly, but won't improve how much they gain overall. The summary, pretty much!

1. Give players adequate playing minutes. 1st team minutes are much better than reserves or u18s.
2. Make sure to loan players to active or 'view only' leagues. Inactive leagues have no effect on CA.
3. Loan players improve based on the quality of the competition and their match ratings, so loan them: a. where they'll be played, b. where they'll be amongst the best players, and c. at the highest level club they can achieve a+b.
4. Training facilities do affect CA development rate, as does the following: Age, CA--PA gap. CA improves less with poor facilities, age, and a player being close to their PA.
5. Have enough coaches (of any kind whatsoever) that all training categories are on 'light' workloads for your coaches.
6. Look for "Working With Youngsters" in any coaches that work with <20's . This stat will affect the rate of CA development.
7. Forget about 7 star coaches unless you have to have them to reduce the training workload, or you need to quickly change how available CA points are spent in training (see here: http://community.sigames.com/showpos...&postcount=238) (thanks zeusbheld)

8. And don't forget tutoring! Hidden Mental Stats, + Determination are best improved through tutoring, and these in kind, affect the rate of CA development. (thanks Pneompen)

There is/was a rather long thread discussion about the effects of the coaches' skills, and the above seemed to be news to many (including me).

Number 2 is incorrect. when I've been in international management, players who have played for me have been from inactive leagues and their CA still improved.

I saw posts that concluded that too ... though that was not the verdict of the guys who had analysed it ... I think it had something to do with the fact that actual matches weren't played in the inactive leagues, so they could not get proper training.

But good to hear if it actually is so that players get increased CA even when loaned out to inactive league teams :)

As far as I got from that thread too is that mental stats for coaches are not used, unless for AssMans and AI managers.
