The motionless player/ Jesus Christ Position glitch

So I have this glitch where my players are fixed in a Cross position. They have no movement, but the game players as if they do. So it is just a visual problem. A very annoying visual problem that makes the game a tad boring.

Anyone know a fix?

I know some people have said clearing cache etc, but I'm not tech-wiz, and am paranoid it'll delete my much loved burnley save.

Why has this been allowed to happen, so long after the game release, ridiculous.

Yes I have read this post. But like I said I'm no computer whiz, so would very much prefer it if I didnt have to go into all the complications of clearing my cache and deleting the whole game and steam believe it or not...

Also assuming it'd delete all my saves.

And how does that fix it, like, why does that fix it? Do we know what caused it?
