When Jose Mourinho joined my beloved Chelsea, he came to a club that had not won a league trophy for 50 years. And there last major trophy was the FA Cup in 2000. But with a load of cash and a good team he turned them into a dominating force in English football. No wonder he calls himself the Special One.
What I intend to do with this story is NOT join Chelsea and dominate but join Manchester City and dominate. We know how bad there season has been even with all the cash, and I think we can all agree Mark Hughes did terrible and definitely made some mistakes in the transfer window. So enter me.
I will use the 2009/2010 fixture list and will update monthly. I wont bother with too much more and just get into it.

Man at the realm
Season Expectations Decided to go for Title Challenge, im aiming for 1-3 position in league.
I didnt bother arranging my own friendlys thought id just use whats on there. Played 6 matches, won all 6(Fixtures below) was glad with how the first team performed, to be honest disappointed that i conceded a goal especially to a much lower team. Was estactic with Carlos Tevez's performance, 4 goals, 3 assists, average rating of 8.61. May reconsider selling him at end of season as I have done with previous games. On with the game
August
Was glad with the performance of the team. Played three Premier Division games and one League Cup game against Oldham. In the preseason I crushed Oldham 9-0, in the League Cup just managed a 4-1 win(I put Shay Given in over Hugo Lloris and of course he concedes), to be fair though there were a few reserves and one U18 players in the team. Apart from that glad with how things went, although I was playing some easyier teams, have Arsenal and Man U to play next.
Transfers
With every game I have a range of players I 90% of the time buy, I have brought two of these this season(Lloris and Chiellini). Lloris is a fantastic goalkeeper and is always my first choice. Chiellini is a very good Italian defender, I consider him to be one of the best and one of my personal favourites. I usually buy Daniele De Rossi from Roma but because I have a transfer update and Patrick Viera in the squad I decided not to buy De Rossi because I intend to use Viera(As well as G. Barry). I am playing with 3 AMC which is why I brought Deco. As for Ashley Young I find him to be a very good player which I discovered while playing as Aston Villa, this is in fact the first time I have brought him. As for the rest they are pretty much under-20s that I will use in Reserve Team and in some cup matches. as for the players leaving well not alot was happening. The three players i loaned out a players that are surplus and wouldnt be picked in my first team but I may want to use in future seasons(Or hold out for a better deal). as for J. Garrido and J. Helan, Garrido was transfer listed as I dont need another player in his postion, and Helan was just a pretty useless youth.
Manager & Player of the month I decided to put these in just for the **** of it. I believe that Tevez should have been P.O.M. but cant win them all. As for M.O.M. I believe I would have clinched it had i not been playing in the League Cup
One could say September was an eventful month for the Citizens. Having to play Arsenal and Man U in succession(And my birthday being in this month) could have been difficult, but we managed First off I would like to bring you this though.
I had previously said that I intended to use Viera in my first team for the season... well thanks to Frances' opposition in a international they made sure that didnt happen and have left my French midfield considering quitting! Not happy.
Fixtures
September saw my Man City boys play four games, three in the league and one in the League Cup. For the Arsenal game I was hoping for a win and I wasnt disappointed. 3-0 at home, thank you to N. de Jong, S. Wright-Phillips and C. Tevez. Next game was a expected to be a tough one and because its the Manchester Derby I felt it deserved its own little catagory so see below for that. 2-0 over West Brom in the League Cup, team was reserves with a few first team just to avoid an upset. Next was West Ham, 4-1, am pleased with the inital result and very pleased with Ashley Young's double, dissapointed to have conceded, I am after all a man that loves my clean sheets and i expect the best out of my goalkeepers and defenders. Other then that a good month. Finally reached top of the table. Would also like to point out that West Ham were coming off a high beating Chelsea(On pens) in the League Cup.
Manchester Derby
Well its what brings out alot of anger between fans and one of Englands best rivialries, the Manchester Derby never disappoints. How would Man U handle there rivals with me in charge?
Well there it is, 2-0 the score, nice to see Tevez score against old club, Adebayor comes in with a late goal to scrap any chances of a late equalizer. By the way It was a home game for Man U but some of my kits are messed up which is why Man U have there away kit.
Here are the tactics going into the match, thankfully Van der Saar was injured, that was a massive favour that potentially helped alot.
Post match its funny to see Man U and four in attack and still couldnt break my solid backline
On a side note good to see im getting my 10m worth, Deco recieving praise from Sir Alex, and why shouldnt he praise him, Deco is a top player

Well moving on to October now, lets see whats in store for me and the team this month.

Well not alot happening this month, four matches, three in the league and one in the League Cup. Funny to see that Arsenal lost 4-1 to West Ham and Fulhum knocked Liverpool out of the League Cup after a 3-1 win. All and all a good month for Man City.
Fixtures
Well as you can see another dominant month for me. Four wins from four games. Smashed Fulhum 6-0, Tevez picking up two in that match as well as G. Barry, K. Toure, A. Young and S. Wright-Phillips picking up one. I had alot of confidence that I would beat Arsenal but Ashely Young's 40th minute strike was good enough to put us in the next round. I have to say that I was biting my nails toward the end of the game especially with six minutes of stoppage time and Arsenal getting more the one late corner. Top goal scorers for the month were Tevez and Young both netting two.
League Table
I was initally going to post this every 10 games but my 10th game is in November so thought id might as well post it now. Glad to be first even after playing less matches. Surprised to see Arsenal in 10th position but its still early in the season.

Well I picked up another M.O.M. award, and two of my players picked up 2nd and 3rd for the P.O.M.

jhopper89- With the addition of Chiellini I didnt have much use for Kompany, I also intended to pick up Gallas but he wouldnt come.

Zed616- Di Maria is good something I discovered while playing as Aston Villa but Deco is as good and was a cheaper option as he was my last player that I brought and didnt have alot of money left to spend
November was my worst month so far, picking up first draw and first loss ending my win streak. No cup games this month just four games in the Premier League. November also saw Everton defeat Liverpool 2-0 in the Merseyside derby.
Fixtures
Well there you have it, my worst month thus far. Very disappointing 1-1 draw with Birmingham and my first loss 4-0 to Liverpool. I am disappointed with the loss but would rather have at least scored a goal or not been beating by four goals. But as you can see after the draw and loss I bounced back with hammering wins over Burnley and Hull. Top goalscorer was Deco who bagged 3. Very happy at his performances.
Manager & Player of the month
Sadly no awards for me or any of my players this month. I wasnt expecting to get the Manager of Month award but was hoping Deco would at least place somewhere in the Player of the Month. Nathan Delfouneso picked up Player of the Month and I have already decided I will trail him in the next summer transfer window.
Very bad month, December saw me knocked out of the League Cup, lose my top spot at the league, and made me realise I cant beat Tottenham. Playing six league matches and one cup hame I conceded 11 and score 14. Also picked up another draw.
Fixtures
Well as you can see knocked out of the League Cup to Spurs after extra time. After that followed a home loss to Chelsea where they clinched the top spot from me, Bolton was a pretty routine match apart from conceding late in the game, Adebayor picked up all four goals. Next was Tottenham in the league, I expected better because I was fielding my first team where as in the League Cup it was subs and reserves, not happy about the loss. Another routine game against Sunderland, again the only downside was the goal conceded. 2-0 against Stoke saw Tevez score his first goal in 11 hours! S. Wright-Phillips scored his 4th of the season as well. And lastly a disappointing end to a bad month, 2-2 draw against Wolves, Wolves had a 2-0 lead at half time and it wasnt till I had three in attack that I started scoring, not happy about the draw but could have been worse. Hopefully January will be much, much better. Adebayor was top goal scorer for the month scoring 8.
League Table
At the 19 game mark for me and 20 game mark for most other teams here is the table. Arsenal still doing bad, and im actually surprised to see Tottenham in 3rd postion. One positive is the amount of goals I have scored.
