Breaking News coming from St James' Park tonight, as Alan Pardew has been sacked by the unpopular Mike Ashley following a 12th place finish in the previous season. Mike Ashley desires a more attacking minded manager, who will not be afraid to take risks in taking Newcastle United into the top 5, and getting his club into Europe. The bookies favourite at the moment to take over from Alan Pardew at this point in time is current Fulham manager, Martin Jol, and current Swansea manager, Brendan Rogers, who, as Sky understands, have been approached by Newcastle United.

More to follow as the story develops...

Newcastle United appoint unknown manager

Following our last story of Alan Pardew being sacked, which was two days ago, both Martin Jol and Brendan Rogers decided to stay at their clubs, and Newcastle United have appointed an unknown manager from Spennymoor Town FC, who are in the northern football league, but they have thrived since Jack Lacey took over and were unlucky not to get promotion last season, but, because of funding, they couldn't get promoted from that league.

Rumours of signings both in and out are already on the cards for Newcastle United, with Jan Vertonghen leading the rumour mill to sign for the club in the now to distant future. However, as the new manager has been appointed, he wishes to get rid of some 'old guard' of Newcastle United, who are not in his plans, including Peter Lovenkrands, Shola Ameobi and Mike Williamson, who will be replaced when, or if, they are sold.

Gah... this is going to be cut short, unfortunately, computer totally died, lost about 4 months on this save, and yet to have reinstalled Football Manager.

Any moderator on here can you please close this thread? I might do another save in the near future with a different team, too much going on at the moment to continue, or restart this save.
