Martin O'Neill named new Shakhtar boss !
Today Shakhtar Donetsk chairman Rinat Akhmetov has announced that former Aston Villa manager, Martin' O'Neill will take over the club, O'Neill will have a £30m transfer budget and may be interested in bringing some of his former team mates to Shakhtar.
This is what O'Neill had to say on his appointment,
'Well i have been managing in Britain all my career and i felt like i needed a change, but when a club like Shakhtar approach you, you cant really say no, they are a great club, i think they won the Europa League in 2009, and i know it won't be easy in this league as i will be facing the likes of Dynamo Kiev but i have great confidence in myself and my new team and i just can't wait to get started.
O'Neill will take over at the RSC Olympiyskyi tomorrow .
