Celtic View

Sneddon was at his first press conference today and was asked some tough questions but he seemed to hadle the pressure well. The inteview went like this
Journalist-You sit here as the new Celtic manager. How does it feel?

Sneddon-I am pleased to be here.Celtic is an enormous club and even though I gave them some abuse when I sat at my home team's stadium Fir Park I will strive to be the best that I can.

Journalist-How will you want your team to play on the pitch?

Sneddon-I will be adopting a attractive, attacking game.Keep the ball and score goals is what I want to do.

Journalist-Will you be keeping the current backroom staff?

Sneddon-I will be having a clearout in the coaching department and bring in new faces but some of the coaching staff currently here will stay here

Journalist-One last question Darren. Will you be signing Darren Dods from Dundee Utd?

Sneddon-I have heard romours about that but they are all rubbish.I have 3 great centre backs in Calwell, loovens and McManus and players like Darren O'Dea and Josh Tompson coming through.Thank you and thats all for today lads

Was deleighted with the score away from home in the 3rd qualifing round. Marc Antoine Fortune played great and got the 2 goals but it was also a fantastic team performance. I asked them to go out and keep the ball and play football and they did exactly that.

August Update

I was pleased that we came back from being 1-0 down at HT to win 2-1. Scott McDonald scored two great goal which involved my method. Passing and moving. In the Play-Offs we will play Arsenal at home first so not to bad.

Played my two new signings and played Josh Thompson as Caldwell was suspended. Always a tough game up at Pittordrie and that showed in this match. Arsenal next!!!!!

I played a 4-1-3-2 as I didn't want to leave just 1 up front against 4 when playing quite defensive and it worked. Got what I wanted with a draw and I will hope for a scoring draw away from home.

Went into this game looking for a win and got what I wanted. 6 points out of 6 and not conceded yet. Looking good so far.

As I said in the 1st leg report I hoped for a scoring draw to go through on away goals and thats what happend. I went back to the 4-1-3-2 hoping to shut out the Arsenal attacking mids. One piece of dissapionting news is that Shaun Maloney is out for 3-4 weeks.

My two signings came back into the squad but Ledley got injured and is out for 3 weeks. Pat McCourt came in for Maloney who is injured and I played a 4-4-2. I went to Easter Road looking for a win but knew it would be tough. We found that out when Hibs scored in 10 mins. We scored an leveler but we just couldn't get a winner.

Still sitting top of the league but would have liked a bigger margin over Rangers.

View attachment 76121

After putting Arsenal out I fear no-one. The media dubbed this as a tough group but I think we can win it if we play to our potential.

View attachment 76122

Should be a easy match but I will still play my main team and take nothing for granted.

Was deleighted to be named Manager of the Month in my first month of competitive football. I hope to keep it up.

Good story mate you have a follower :D just a quick question how do you get the badge of the team to appear when playing a match instead of the strip for the score?
