The Quest to be the Best - A West Ham United Story

Hi all,
I am creating my final FM2010 save, and I would like to make a story about it. I have never done a story before, so go easy! :)
There is no reason for choosing West Ham, I just fancied a challenge, and have decided that West Ham would be a good place to start. I will be doing an update after each in-game month. However, don't expect them too often, it can take me a while to do a month in FM. I hope you enjoy my story, and I would like to attract as many followers as possible, because when FM2011 is released, I will be creating a save which will last me until FM2012 hopefully!
As I said, enjoy!

Ben Davis Revealed as New West Ham United Manager

Today, the West Ham United board have revealed that inexperienced manager Ben Davis would be taking over at Upton Park. The news came as a shock to all West Ham fans, who has only just recieved news of Avram Grant being the new boss. However, after a fall out between Grant and the West Ham board, the club have announced that Davis is the new gaffer. After attending a press conference to discuss his new managerial position, Ben Davis was ready to begin his reign as the new Hammers boss.

Good luck with it mate, abit more detail in the OP would have been handy though.

What kind of info were you thinking? I can add more if need be.

This Month's Overview:

A fairly decent pre-season so far, picking up 3 out of 4 wins. A great victory over Celtic to win the Di Canio Cup, a tournament held annualy by West Ham as per my instructions. A few good signings, however would have liked to have seen a bit more coming in to the club, rather than leaving. Finances are looking fine, so all in all, everything is going well for me so far.

I presume you are using someone's update? Anyway good luck. Offer your opinion on match results and transfers, don't just list them. :)

I am using an update by LFC Marshall, with a few little tweaks from myself. I will try and add some opionions for the next update too, thanks. Another month to play now! :D

Question to a forum moderator...

Would it be possible for somebody to close this thread? I have come up with a more suitable layout for my story, however I feel it would look a bit untidy if I were to continue with a different layout in this thread.

Many thanks if this is possible to do!

Ben.

Well guys, I have decided that this thread is no longer open for discussion. However, be on the look out for my new thread, which will be the same story, but better, sometime tommorow. Thanks for the comments so far, and I hope you carry on to follow me in the new thread!

Thanks,
Ben.

Why don't you just edit all your posts.
Would take a while but the moderators don't like you doing multiple stories and doing stories for two minuits.
They might put you on a story ban.
Just a heads up mate.
