Okay...
Started a new game as Real Madrid (yes I know too easy) and wanted to try something, namely getting two players for each position in a 4-5-1 formation where everyone has a different role, with a larger proportion of spanish players than the pitiful amount Los Blancos start with. With this in mind I made the following transfers -

I plan to sell Arbeloa (not quick enough), Varane (not left footed), Alonso (age), Callejon (lacks quality) and Ronaldo (selfish) at the end of the first season, and possibly bring in Azpilicueta, Inigo Martinez, Romeu, Vadillo and Eden Hazard.
With the right training/discipline I plan to make all the players have their suggested roles to match my tactics, and if they don't then I will sell them. I also value teamwork as key to this idea hence the future swap of Ronaldo (4 teamwork) for Hazard (12 teamwork) since all Ronaldo does is shoot. Not my way I'm afraid.
Thoughts of alternatives for signings/tactics/general feedback are welcome. Just about to play Barca in the Spanish Super Cup...
