After just being relagted from the football league my main aim was to establish the stags in this league this season and hopefully push on for the playoffs the season after. I Wanted to bring in lots of experience to cope with this very demanding and physical league but i also was after a few youngsters with talent in abundance. I Was going to concetrate on the league more than the cup but a cup run could come in handy with our bank balance not being the healthiest in the division.

Firstly i think the signings we have made are fantastic . We now have two great goalkeepers and i brough Andy Marriott in for cover from Exeter city as i didn't quite think Jason White had the required quality that is why i let him join kettering. I Also like the 3 month loan signing of Sam Hewson from Manchester United and i really think he could really kickstart his season. We have also struck a great deal with Sheffield Wednesday which now sees them become our parent club , everything is really looking good for the stags. Lets hope for a good league start in august.
