TRAINING & TACTIC

I wasn't sure how to set up lionel's individual training at all. finally I decided to focus on his jumping reach, to allow him to score more from crosses he'll going to get from the wingers.

As you may think I'm going to play as Centre Forward on a False Nine Role - as on his best times with Pep Guardiola

PRE SEASON

Let's start this mission! To become familiar with this (new) tac we had to set up some friendly games. Barca didnt perform well at all, barcelona b even managed to get a 2-2 draw against me:

For Lionel Messi himself the friendlies weren't too bad, he managed to score 9 times & give 3 assists in 10 games he played in pre season:

So, nobody wasn't sure how the first games are going to be, but the fans expected at least a small win in the first game against Elche

GAMES AGAINST ELCHE AND VILLAREAL

Barcelona had a dream start into La Liga, while smashing Elche 8-0 (!!). All Goals were scored on the first half! Lionel Messi played a big Part scoring 4 Goals and having an average Rating on the season opener:

The Game against Villareal was a bit more difficult, but at the end Barcelona Managed to get a 3-0 win away. Messi again played pretty well and scored and assisted one:
