Danny Wilson : Left the County Ground

Many of the Swindon Town faithful were shocked as they turned Sky Sports News this morning as they woke to the news of Danny Wilson resigning from the manager's position at the County Ground. The reason he gave the Swindon Town chairman was that the game was no longer about passion but about money for the players and that they didn't care about the game like he did when he played. Wilson has had a good year in charge of Swindon after securing the deal to sign promising striker Charlie Austin for the small amount of £10,000.

Meanwhile, Swindon have quickly appointed former goalkeeping legend Michael Henson on a six month contract until they can find someone suitable for the job. Henson had a successful playing career starting at Swindon before moving on to Bury, Leicester, Preston and Arsenal gaining -- international caps along the way. However, his career was cut short though following a bad break of his left leg whilst playing for Arsenal against Manchester United. Paul Scholes was the culprit as he slid in to block a clearance from Henson, something Henson has never forgiven him for.

Michael Henson's press conference coming soon..
