Right, I want ro run another BAP.

My last one ran till the players were 30, but then stopped due to a gap in the updates (Not my fault, blame work).

So my idea is to run another BAP, but this time i want to run it in South America. I will be editing my own South American database so that the South American competitions and teams are of the level of Europes top competitions and leagues, whilst Europe will become the new 'South America' of World Football.

In essence, South America will have the greatest league and continental competitions in the World, with (debatedly) Europe being the second best.

I plan to load all South American competitions (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Peru and Uruguay) and enter BAP participants into clubs from each country, either of there own choosing or a random draw...or even unattached, I havent decided yet.


If any one else has any ideas just let me know one this thread and please ask any questions you want.

Plus if anyone can give e tips in creating the database please tell me, cause at the moment i can see me having to either delete all European clubs unless i go through them each individually and change their reputation. Same with the leagues and other competitions.
 
Think i got the competitions working for it now on reputations....now for the teams....
 
the only problem i have with this now is the national rules for south american countries where they can only have 3 foreign players in their squads and i dont know how to change it.

any ideas?
 
Make every player to be a non foreigner, but to have a second nation then, and declare for one??

Maybe you're looking at this the wrong way.

Perhaps you should make the South American structure into a European structure, make a Champions league & europa league type set up, and then have a World Club Cup type scenario with the best of Europe and South America playing.
 
plus it would mean setting them to brazilian/argentinian etc so they would only be able to go to that country

i mean i tested the database and players like Kaka and Dani Alves would sign for Brazilian clubs, but say Rooney or Hazard, the club would be less inclined because they are foreign

well south america already has its only champions league/europa league so ive just upped the reputation of those competition and dropped the levels of the European competitions. World Cup Cup is already set up.

well south america already has its only champions league/europa league so ive just upped the reputation of those competition and dropped the levels of the European competitions. World Cup Cup is already set up.

I was thinking a giant merge, so the best of brazil/argentina would make the South American Super League and then have lower tiers

Yea its possible I suppose. Could do the same with Africa, Asia, North America and Australasia and then have a world champions league of the top teams from each super league.

I would again need to adjust club reputation and finances for every club so they all start on an even keel.

Was also thinking of setting all players throughout the world to 'unattached' so each club could snap whoever they want up

That unattached idea sounds brilliant mate, my knowledge of the editor goes as far as making players and changing reps. Ill help if i can however.

im just trying to work out how to format it, like how do i make the top teams qualify...

right i think i know how to do it...only one way to find out. will have to make the leagues so they are all on one continent, but in different nations in that continent, just so the world champions league can be set to the continental competition
