Bruce Is Shown The Door

Sunderland manager Steve Bruce arrived at The Stadium Of Light after receiving an urgent message from Niall Quinn. Players were sitting in the players lounge and the Chairman asked the players how they thought last season went some said they believe they should be in a higher position maybe even an Europa League finish. Niall Quinn waited in the board room with the directors for Steve Bruces' arrival. He sat him down and told him that they want to part company. Steve Bruce didnt take this well and thought it was outragous. He returned his shiny mercedes back to the Chairman.

Then laying in bed Steve Bruce was thinking and then it clicked he has a new manager lined up.

Redknapp Wants Sunderland Job

Whilst talking to Sky Sports Jamie Redknapp stated he wanted a managerial job and Sunderland were calling his name. He believes he can get them into the Europa League in a couple of seasons.

The Sunderland job is wanted by many managers.

Quinn took Redknapp up on this deal and asked these questions

"Where do you see Sunderland in a couple of years time?"

Redknapp only had to say 2 words. "Europa League".

Many questions followed and Quinn after talking to the directors he tells Jamie. "We'll contact you in a few days".

A couple of days later. Harry Redknapp sat down with Jamie and told him something important after talking about his interview. "You've got the job says Harry". Jamie replied how do you know? Seconds later Jamie's phone rang and it was Niall Quinn. "Hello Jamie, Niall Quinn here bet your'e wandering if you got the job he said then after a 5 minute conversation Quinn says see you at Sunderland tomorrow 10am then put the phone down.

Sunderland fans couldn't wait to see what results Jamie Redknapp would bring them.

Pre Season:

Sunderland 3-0 Sunderland Reserves

St Mirren 2-4 Sunderland

Leeds 1-4 Sunderland

Sunderland 1-2 Werder Bremen

Sunderland 2-1 FC Timisoara

Brighton 1-4 Sunderland

Aldershot 1-2 Sunderland

Jamie seemed please with the teams results and states that he believes they can finish in the top half of the Premier League. Ex manager Steve Bruce starting laughing as he heard Redknapp believed he could take Sunderland to the top half.

Redknapp had this to say; We seemed pretty solid in defence, yes I'll admit we didnt play strong oppositions but we put in decent performances, our striker seemed to score for fun in pre season.

Jamie's Death Threat!

After the game at Stamford Bridge Jamie refused to travel back to the north on the team coach after getting crushed by Chelsea. He went and booked into the closest Hilton Hotel. Watching his performance on Match Of The Day where Gary Lineker stated Sunderland will be poor this season under Jamie Redknapp. Just as he was about to nod off his new Iphone 4 rang, a voice he never heard said;

"I know where your staying, refusing to travel back on the team coach is appauling. I will come and find you".

Jamie just put the phone down then 30 minutes later just at The Football League Show started he heard a knock on the door". A mystery voice said room service, Jamie was concerned he never ordered room service maybe somebody in the hotel staff saw the game and thought he needed comfort food. He answered the door, a man with a balaclarva stood there and whipped out his 10mm pistol and aimed at Jamie's head.
