Author Notes: I apologize for any spelling/ grammar mistakes I may make, a story like this is very high maintenance and hope you can all appreciate that.

Hi, my name is Ahn Yun Kwon, I am from South Korea. Korea is a strange place to grow up, football didn't really hit us until the late 80's but when it did, I fell in love. I used to watch tapes of European football whenever I could growing up, my friends thought it was strange, but my dad was an ex-football coach back when he lived in Scotland. Unfortunately I had to take my mothers name, she was afraid I would get bullied because of my British background (Although you could easily tell I wasn't a real Korean).

In 1983, the K-League was formed. My dad was doing a bit of work for our local side Jeju United, and he offered my services to coach the youth side. It was an excellent experience. 25 years later and I've been coaching youth sides and reserve teams in South Korea too long. It's time I ventured out, I really want to move to Europe, I've spent very little time abroad in my life, but my dad always said he'd love me to visit Scotland one day, but who knows. At 45 years old, I'm in the managerial prime of my life, I'm hoping a decent side somewhere in Europe is interested, I'd rather not be stuck at some semi-pro side in Bulgaria (My dad said it's terrible there).

Wish me luck and follow on my journey to European success.

I'd decided to travel to Glasgow, to see the place where my dad grew up. It wasn't the cleanest or friendliest looking place in the world, but he seemed to love it so much, maybe I could learn to love it to. I guess getting to travel is an upside to being a single middle aged man. I had hired an English girl, Ami, a few weeks ago to help me find a club looking for a manager. Needless to say little had came up, a few contacts in Eastern Europe had contacted her but nothing I thought would be a good move.

Walking around, I could see that even though it was a bleak cold city, the people were happy and didn't seem to worried about anything. I heard about the failed terrorist attack a few years ago in Glasgow, a friend of mine warned me that Britain wasn't safe, but I've been through worse, I mean when you live so close to North Korea, life in a small Island seems safe. And besides, judging by the looks I was getting from the locals, they may have thought I was a terrorist.

As the day's went on I was hoping to get a call from a Scottish side, it was a great place, and their love for football was obvious. Ami said there was a possibility that Dundee United could be looking for a new head coach so fingers crossed the post comes available but nonetheless I would like to stay here for a while. Scotland is my first choice.

I was led in bed one morning when I felt a buzzing on the other side of my bed, it was Ami. Hopefully this was about the Dundee United job, there had been nothing on Sky Sports, but with the season so close they might want to act fast. I reached for the Nokia and pressed accept.

"Hello, Mr. Kwon?"

"Oh hello Ami, any news?"

"Ur.. Yes in fact sir, I have just received an e-mail from an SPL side..."

"Go on.." I could feel the excitement growing inside of me, this job was mine!

"Well it appears that a club has just relieved the services of their manager, and are looking to start interviews immediately."

"Okay, just tell me where to go?" I knew it was Dundee, but it was I wanted to hear it, a top-flight club wanted me!

"Falkirk, sir."

"Falkirk? Ami I thought you were trying to get me the Dundee United job?"

"Well as we speak, Falkirk are the only side in the SPL without a manager, unless there is a problem?"

"I know nothing about this Falkirk, the whole time I've been in Scotland I've been researching on Dundee ******* United" *******, is a word I'd never heard in Korea but it seemed to be thrown about in conversation in Scotland in a moment of rage or confusion so I thought I'd through it in. "Tell me about this club?"

"Everything you need to know is in the e-mail I have forwarded it to your account, if you are interested in this job then I suggest you head to Falkirk as soon as possible, I will meet you there. Thank y--"

She certainly seemed agitated, she even hung up before finishing her sentence, maybe it was when I said "*******"? I wasn't to sure, but I had to see this e-mail, if I'm going to be having an interview today I need to know what I'm talking about.. I'm way out of my depth, maybe I was better off in South Korea..

Great so far Andy, eagerly awaiting for the interview :)

Great start, I'll be following! Although "*******" is just added in between every third word to pad out sentences, not just in moments of shock and confusion XD

Time to go and catch this train. I took the short time I'd be on the train to check out the club I'm applying to, I pulled out my blackberry and clicked the link Ami had sent in the e-mail. The link took me too the clubs Wikipedia site, trust me to actually expect Ami to do some real research!

The train was ten minutes away from Falkirk, I'd read all I needed to about Falkirk and was genuinely excited by the prospect of managing there. I decided to search "*******" into Google, just to clear up what it meant, needless to say it was very self explanatory, still, in the context people use it, it doesn't make sense, I just do not understand the English language.

I stood by the exit as the train pulled into the station, my first job was to navigate my way out of the station, which albeit was a lot smaller than where I boarded in Glasgow but was still a very confusing and busy place. I left the station behind me, I wasn't used to small towns, I've only ever lived in cities, even Glasgow was a huge place but my first impressions of Falkirk were, well, boring, simple and very plain. Although to be fair, my dad he did always say South Korea were years ahead of Scotland technologically. All I know is, it's certainly not as beautiful as Seoul, but I'd still love to be able to call Falkirk my home.

I was hoping I'd recognize Ami, I'd only ever actually met her once, when I hired her. She was recommended to me by an old friend, Hong Myung-Bo, a footballing legend back home. He dated her a few years back and had heard about her excellent skills as an agent and PA. I wondered along the street just as a BMW pulled up beside me, the window rolled down.

"Mr. Kwon, get in please sir."

"Oh hi Ami"

"Today is a very big day sir, Falkirk have been interviewing since 9AM, luckily they are very interested in you, so we managed to get you hence how I managed to get an interview so soon"

"I never did properly thank you for that Ami--"

"Don't worry about it sir, we'll be there soon, the stadium is just a few miles away, are you prepared?"

"As prepared as I'll ever be, let's get this over and done with."

"Good luck sir"
