After getting bored of my Liverpool story (will still continue) due to the fact that it's my first story and that it is relatively plain.
Inspired by many before me, I have decided to start my own story about a manager. Seeing that many FM players and users of the forum are from some part of Europe and myself being one of the few from Australia, I've decided to start off by managing an Australian club, Sydney FC, and progress my story from there.
Like the title states it will be about the life of an Australian Manager. I'm not sure of my goals for the story as of yet but they will become clear as the story progresses.
Just to let you know, I am no Tolkien, Rowling or Goodkind. I write this for the love of the game and the love of the game only. And hopefully it might improve some of my writing skills along the way.
For those who are curious, the personality of the manager in the story will somewhat reflect on my own. My same name will also be used. As for the other details, I will let you find that out on your own if it be true or false.
Just to let you in on my game details. I will be using a large database playing in a few countries of my choice. I do not wish to announce them just yet. I will try to focus on both the game and the story as much as possible.
Wish me luck. First post coming soon.

Kristian Steko. Born in Croatia, Zagreb on August 20th 1988 and moved to Sydney Australia at only the age of two was, and still is a massive football fan. He still remembers the day when his father took him to see Sydney United play against Perth Glory in the wonder days of the NSL. The game was his life and passion. He trained as a goalkeeper until he was of the age of 14. That's when schooling and other personal issues made a break into his life. He just didn't have time for the beautiful game after that point. Every day that went past was agony without the ball in his hands or at his feet.
After a few years past Kristian almost completely lost all of his skill as a goalkeeper. His positioning was bad, he couldn't make right decisions, his technique was getting worse without the training and playing the game did not interest him anymore. But his intelligence grew as he was dedicated to his schooling.
At about the age of 15 he decided to help a family friend named Joe, coach his under 9's division 2 squad. His first training session went very well. He knew most of the boys from the squad and got on well with the others. At this point his intellectual mind started working wonders for this team. He knew, depending on their attributes (speed, strength etc) were they would play and how. Joe was amazed at Kristian's knowledge of the game. Joe had helped Kristian with man management and other aspects. But at the end of the season when the team won promotion into the 1st division, Joe recommended him for a coaching vacancy in the under 18's squad for the next season.
Four years later and Kristian manages the Sydney United 1st Grade squad and has won the flag three years in a row. The story starts about a week after the grand final against APIA. The young manager is well off the peak of his career.
