After taking inspiration from a few recent stories, I have decided to turn my current save into story. I have loaded up the English league all the way down to level 24, and my aim will be to get amateur Crawley United, who were predicted 9th out of 10 in the lowest league, all the way up to the Premiership and find Champions League glory.

Also along the way, I will ensure that the club is operating in a financially positive way. I will set financial goals at the start of each season as my finances and budgets will change every year.

My long term goals for this save are:

Become a Professional football club
Reach the Football League Divisions
Reach the Premiership
Win the FA Cup
Win the Champions League
Have £100 million in the bank
Ensure the value of players sold is greater than value of players bought

As I have already completed season one, my next post will be a quick round up of everything that happened in the first season. Wish me luck, and I hope you enjoy!

This is my managers profile right now. He has certainly improved his mental stats since I have started this save. The board also decided to send me on a coaching course to gain my national C licence (in my current season) which I am hoping my manager will complete soon.

We also had great success in the Mid-Sussex Football League Division Eleven, winning the league by a clear 9 points. We were also the leagues top scorers with 55 goals in just 18 games (to save you having to use a calculator like me, thats 3 goals on average a game).

We also had excellent runs in the Brian Hall Challenge Cup and the Sussex Junior Cup where we managed win them both. We looked solid through both tournaments and ran out worthy winners in both. We also got prize money of £10k from each which really helped the bank balance.

Current Season Update

I am currently in October on my season season up in the Mid-Sussex Football League Division Ten. This time the media have given us a prediction of 1st, so there will be a little more pressure on the side to perform well. So for we are coping well, and are on course for winning the league, winning 5 of our 6 games so far.

It was a very frustrating summer though, having loads of my players nicked by bigger teams. Luckily bringing in replacements is free and they are also performing well. Below are some screenshots of my best players.

Financial Report

In line with my financial goals for this save, I will also provide monthly updates of the clubs finances. As you can see, we have made a healthy profit so far this season, and I am hoping to improve upon last season profit also.

Loving the idea of the idea of the story,
Its going to take a ****** long time to get to the football league though isnt it?
But ill be following the story and good luck

thanks for the comments all!

Updates may be a little slow over the start of the game as it takes aaaages to process on my laptop. When im on my PC it runs smooth, but I often only get to play on my laptop at the moment

Interesting concept. Best of luck with it, i'll keep and eye on it. Attempting something similar in the Irish Division!

Mid-Season Update

Schedule_SeniorFixtures_zps3d517021.png

Its been a super start to the season, winning 8 of our 9 league games. The only disappointing result so far was the 2-3 loss to Buxted III in the Tester Challenge Cup 1st Round. Considering we won the last game against them comfortably 5-2, it was disappointing we were unable to do the same previously.

Alex Addai has so far been our player of the season with 10 goals in 12 matches, as well as 3 assists and 2 PoMs. The whole team has been performing spectacularly though, with us currently having the award for most goals and least goals conceded.

Note: This is just a quick season catch up. Next updates will be more in depth
