Raid'em All!
4-3-1-2, a tactic which can be a real pain in the *** when setup is well chosen. The formation itself grants defense stability; the advantage in numbers on the midfield, which can be easily 6 men with the full backs; and of course the striker duo, which I really prefer, but in the latest patches it was not the best choice. Now I am really thinking that this is a working one.
Before going to the tactic I have to admit that this is not just my work. We, I mean ALL OF US on this community got great knowledge and ideas looking/using the tactics of the best authors. I am sure we all know the name of TotalFootballFan9, Christian Eriksen, Mr Langvatn or Tinkerman and trust me, there are many more of them. So I would say thank you to all of you!
Notes to player roles
Use your more creative midfielders in CMa position
The SS should be an agile one
Use your faster striker on the right as he will be running wide with the ball.
Training
Use fitness – high in pre-season and change to balanced – average 10 days before the first competitive match. Use match tactics until fully fluid and defensive positioning afterwards.
Team talks
I am always saying them before every match that I trust in them – assertively.
If you are facing a much tougher opponent, say them calmly: no pressure.
All the others should be done assertively:
I am not using OIs too much, but you can rely on your assistant’s advices.
If you are leading in the 75th min, you can tick Retain Possession and change to Control mentality.
LB takes left corner and vica versa.

All the others should be done assertively:
- If you are a goal behind or it’s still a draw: Demand more! This can be repeated.
- If you are leading: Concentrate!
