Some tactics/skin makers do that so they can keep track of downloads, its not unusual.

Lets them see if their is an interest or how much time they may/may not be wasting. Just ask another user of it to send it you instead.

everyone is different my friend,you have to understand that some users get bombarded with questions and lose patience.just the way it is sometimes
