Hi, I used to buy the latest championship manager every year. I loved it and thought no management game could match it. When I was introduced to Football Manager, in 2007, i liked the change but it was too slow on my old computer. When i got a laptop, i immediately bought Football manager 2009. Ever since i have realised how ridiculosly easy Championship manager could be and this was the main reason for the change. for example, I started one with Newcastle on championship manager 2008, i swapped owen with van nistelrooy, and had a strike force of Adriano and Van nistelrooy in my first season. I signed Alonso and more fantastic players like McGeady with a budget of £50m (no cheat). Selling unwanted players is very easy on Championship manager, so i soon got a budget around £70m. In my first season, i won the premiership by 24 points, won the FA cup and league cup, beatin man utd 3-0 in the fa cup final. My point was further proved when a friend told me he won the league with aston villa in the first season. This was with a budget of £18m. On CM, you can sign about 15 players, get rid of 10 and you will have no problems with the team gelling togeter. Football manager is a lot more realistic as it is hard for your players to gel, and you cannot win everything in your first season without being a brilliant team. So my question, what made everyone choose FM rather than CM?
