The Year is 2019. I am in desperate need of a sensational attacking midfielder for my Bayern Munich side who finished 9th in the table last season. I have just taken the job and Mario Gotze was unhappy about the lack of European Competion so opted to submit a transfer request. I gave in to his request and now I'm in deep ****. With Kroos and Schweinteiger maintaining the central positions and Oliver not quite world class, I'm in a pickle. Santos, a regen from the Napoli team i left to join Bayern Munich may just be the sensational playmaker i need. However he is only 22, Napoli are demanding 75M for his services and he is demanding 240kpw. I can afford this, but it just seems a bit unnecessary. Is he too expensive ? or are there any other Advanced Playmakers of the highest caliber which are worth recommending to launch my Munich side who slumped to 9th in the table to meet the boards expectation of a title challenge alongside a Dortmund side that not only won the title by almost 20 points last season but are also Gotze's new employers.

Isco, Real Madrid in the default game... he may be very expensive though. He should be in his prime in 2019 too, I bought him in my 2018 Manchester City save and he was honestly a beast... He cost me £120M though...

He just isn't cheap.

I just isco in my 2019 save and he's great! Only done a few games so far though. I got him on a free too :)
 
Just Offered 120M for Isco but it was rejected. I Tried to Recruit Messi for the role but he didn't want to come and i wasn't willing to pay a huge sum for him as he was 32. Its looking more and more likely that Santos is my only Sensational option that wants to pack his bags.

Unlucky! I'm in 2032 on my save, I'll trawl through some of the archives, and see who turned out good that you could try. Ultimately though, if your man wins you lots of titles, then £75m isn't an issue
 
Too right ! He's a great player and money really isn't an issue at Bayern. 456M bank balance and were predicted to be sitting on 1.02B in three seasons. So ill think ill probably go for it, thanks for all the suggestions though :)
 
I just spent £55m on probably the best young english player I've seen in recent times at City, finally wanted to join, more than justified his price tag

I'm in 2019 and he's one of the best players (mainly because I trained him, not cpu).
