Right then, let's get cracking. This is my first post on the site, and obviously my first story, so go easy on me if it isn't super detailed. ^^)

I've decided to start a new game with the one, the only...

IFK Hässleholm!!!!!

"Who?" I hear you all ask... well let's give you some details.

They play in Sweden in the Second Division Södra Götaland apparently, I don't know what that translates too, I'd like to say southern goatland, but I'm probably wrong. They have a 6,000 capacity stadium, in which 450 of those seats are situated on the roof, and at one point in time, Peter Crouch played for them. (H)

The leagues I loaded up were:

England, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Switzerland all to as low as they can go. Why? I think Why the **** not? is the more appropriate question. :D

I started the game in July 2009, which is when the Swedish league is in full swing, so here's how the table looked when I took over:

You could try get Jari Litmann,he's from somewhere round there :p.

I look forward to the challenge, although this season in my last 10 games, I want to just ensure safety and then rebuild the squad for a promotion push the next season.

Currently trying to sign some wing backs as this team is void of any. :P

End of the 1st Season.

Well I can't say I'm not enjoying life in Sweden, the football certainly isn't glamarous, and definatly not well followed, but it is all good fun and I look forward to pushing on with next seasons promotion push.

Well well well, the start of the 2010 season has hit Hässleholm...

... And to put it nicely, 6 months of pre-season is as boring as all ****, however, it did let me change my squad into my squad. I was also offered the managerial post at Wrexham, which I turned down as a) I didn't want a move to England just yet and b) I am enjoying my time in hässleholm at the moment.

It all looks like it's going to be an interesting season here, hoping to better my media prediction of 3rd by winning the league this time around. However, as writing this, two of my first eleven have seen injuries keeping them out for most of the season (Ekblom) and the entire season (Peltonen), things may not be too rosy after all.

Gee mate, why Hässleholm...of all Swedish teams!??? :D Is it because Peter Crouch has played for them waaaaaaaay back, or what?
