As it says in the title, I am Brighton with the same squad I started off with at the beginning of the season.

Thanks.

I would say that in the championship you need a good defence. I think you have more chance of going up if you concede less rather than score more. If you don't have a good defence then I would play a defensive tactic. I played 4-5-1 with leeds and went up only conceding 15 goals. I highly suggest Jiri Bilek at DM.

I think in the championship you need to have a side that it is very organised and hard to break down. I suggest playing a rigid formation so that your players are always in position in case of any fast attacks from the opposition.

I also agree with having a decent defence.

I can't find him mate, does anyone think the Craig Mackail Smith is good for the Championship?

I just noticed that. I think it still stands though and as Brighton he should be using League 1 as prep for the Championship.

The OP has two meanings if you look at the title.

He says he has the same squad at the start of the season, this could mean that he is just going up to the championship now.

Or

He is trying to get to the championship and needs tips how to get there.

Tough to comprehend.

check each prem club and maybe champioinship players for players they might of released :P

yeah, get loans from great clubs in reserves, they seem to be handy and get some parent clubs as they help very much! Make sure that you have the correct tactic for your team so, if you have good wingers but not so good midfielders in middle try to hit out wide or if your strikers are tall and strong in the air then go for direct passes and crosses. I think that with the correct tactics and correct players, that should do good. Oh yeah also you need in my opinion a very good goalkeeper. In my game, my goalkeeper is the key man as he saves a lot of shots and keeps clean sheets. But good defense is also required :).

Good luck.

Craig Mackail Smith?

Budget: 1.7 mil.

Have you tried free transfers? Try to get some regens if found? Get danny wilson on loan or buy if you can if not you can get quite a few good loans from arsenal reserves. Try soukouna, he did good for me.
