Diego Simeone Exits Atleti...
View attachment 378489
In a shock resignation, Diego Simeone has left Atletico Madrid. The club legend has played with the likes of Fernando Torres during his time playing at the club, before moving into the managers position in 2011. There are no stand out managers vying for the job, although it is widely believed that Simeone has recommended a personal acquaintance to take over the job.

View attachment 378488
Following Diego Simeone's resignation from Atletico, 27 year old Argentinian international Cristian Rodriguez has left Atleti for Liga Zon Sagres Champions Porto, Enrique Cerezo released the following statement.

"We have an important announcement coming up very soon, unfortunately it was necessary for Cristian to leave the Vicente Calderon but we have a key target in mind for a replacement, more on this will be said in the upcoming announcement, goodbye"

It seems that the head honcho's of Atleti have some new events coming up soon, events which may be key in Atletico's future...

In Atletico Madrid's press conference staged before their friendly before West Ham, an unrecognised man entered the conference room and sat down in the middle seat before presenting the following words to the press...

"Hello Atleti, my name is James Simpkins, none of you will know who I am or what I am doing here but trust me. I am James Simpkins and I am the manager of Atletico Madrid for the indefinite future - I am aware I may not be accepted, as this is my first managers job and I am not a native spaniard, but Simeone has put his trust in me, I hope you do the same, but for now please welcome my friend and new employee, Nicolas Gaitan..."

Sky Sports wishes the 25 year-old Englishman all the best at Atleti. We will have more news soon.
